Our Plan

The Metropolitan Glasgow Strategic Drainage Partnership (MGSDP) is undertaking a considerable amount of work to evaluate Glasgow’s complex drainage infrastructure issues to establish an appropriate programme of mitigation measures and projects to address the flooding and water issues in metropolitan Glasgow.

Computer modelling is revealing how rivers, sewers and watercourses work and interact during normal and storm conditions. These predictions will help us all better understand the problems and identify the most effective integrated solutions.

Work is already under way to achieve the MGSDP’s objectives by all our partners. The key elements of this work will be the MGSDP’s development plan and implementation plan.
