MGSDP Online Event Held 2nd October
On 2nd October, the MGSDP held an online webinar event to cover a range of areas, including:-
- Existing and future flood risk challenges facing the region;
- How climate change should be considered in design;
- The difference between mitigation and adaptation, and the need for both;
- Communicating flood risk;
- Who is responsible for flood risk;
- Actions to take to reduce flood risk, and the need to increase the pace of delivery and scale of investment;
- The need for an infrastructure first approach for sustainable, blue-green, interventions to deliver water resilient places;
- Examples of good practice.
