Smart Canal Project Picks Up Another Award

The North Glasgow Integrated Water Management System Project, Glasgow's Smart Canal, has picked up another industry award.

In June, the project won the Surface Water Management category at the Environment Agency Flood & Coast Excellence Awards 2022 - https://www.ciwem.org/news/flood-and-coast-excellence-awards-2022-winners-announced

Funding for the project has come from a range of sources, with the main elements funded from Glasgow City Region City Deal (http://www.glasgowcityregion.co.uk/) and the European Regional Development Fund (https://www.scottishcities.org.uk/workstreams/smart-cities) via the 'Scotland's 8th City - the Smart City' programme.
